Structural Steel Sections

Angle Iron is a L shaped steel bar. One angle is perpendicular to the other. This forms an inside angle as well as an outside angle. It is made of mild steel and is suitable for a wide variety of applications. Angle bars are used to offer a strengthened support to structures that otherwise would not be able to endure the pressure placed on them. They are also used to reinforce edges on surfaces to prevent damage or erosion due to weathering. In the simplest sense, angle bars are used to protect any edges and corners that are required to hold their shape.

Channel steel is a common construction component and typically made from hot-rolled steel with a wide, flat surface and flanges at right angles on either side. The outer edge is sharply angled while the inner surface contains radius corners. The channel provides stability while the wide, flat surface is ideal for affixing items and providing support. In its largest form, channel steel is used to support bridge decks and other very large object and has the ability to absorb flex and other forces that might damage more rigid I-beams and H-beams. Steel channels are a versatile product that is available in many sizes and thicknesses.

Flat Bar Steel is a flat, rectangular section with square edges varying in sizes. This cost-effective steel product is suitable for a wide variety of applications and it is easy to weld, cut, form and machine. It is frequently used in framework, braces, supports, plates and straps.

Channels can be hot-rolled or cold-rolled. Channels are typically used as braces along building frames for added reinforcement. Channels can be used in carports as support beams and in truck and trailer body building for reinforcement. Channels are also used in roof structures as trusses. Our selection of channels includes S355 parallel flange channels, CQ hot-rolled lip channels, galvanised lip channels and light channels.

Round Bar is a mild steel, solid steel bar that is ideal for all general fabrication, manufacturing and repairs. Steel Rounds are widely used in industrial maintenance, agricultural implements, transportation equipment, ornamental iron work, fencing, artwork, etc. These steel bars are easy to weld, cut, form and machine with the proper equipment and knowledge. This cost-effective steel product is available in various sizes

Square Bar is a mild steel, solid steel bar that is ideal for all general fabrication, manufacturing and repairs. Steel square bars are widely used in industrial maintenance, agricultural implements, transportation equipment, ornamental iron work, fencing, artwork, etc. These steel bars are easy to weld, cut, form and machine with the proper equipment and knowledge. This cost-effective steel product is available in various sizes
